This thesis, presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Management, examines how regional theatres can continue to identify and cultivate their loyal stakeholders for the financial health of the organization. By integrating the marketing and development departments, theatres will be able to continue nurturing their patrons. This thesis examines the historical perspective of regional theatres, why integrating the two departments is important, and the best way to combine the marketing and development staffs. It also explains how to track stakeholders and the barriers to implementation of these 2 areas.
