This is a 302 page collection of short stories that I am submitting for my graduate thesis. The word count is 80,206, and the collection contains 20 short stories plus a coda. Most of the stories are about families. Namely, the families you're born with and the families you make and lose along the way. The characters come from social economic backgrounds ranging from poor to middle class with the majority living somewhere between. Some of the topics dealt with in the piece are childhood and adolescent coming of age, love and relationships, and death and coping.
