Thesis (M.A.)--California State University, Long Beach, 2008.
The purpose of this study is to design a worldwide traveling toy museum that will present a timeline of the evolution of toys and be both presentable and influential to people worldwide. Inviting is the best word one will use to describe the general look of this toy museum with all the interactive activities for visitors. Not only will visitors enjoy the toys, they will also be a part of the toys. Since this structure can also be easily broken apart into pieces, it makes it very travel-friendly. This ability to disassemble the buildings will make it easy to transport and display the museum anywhere in the world. The museum can take shape according to the shape of the landscape because of the way it is built. Toys shape our children's imaginations, those imaginations shape our future. The purpose of this museum is to explore the future of our imaginations.
