Islam has become the world's second largest religion. Its people, Muslims, are now scattered all over the world. According to the CIA, in 2002 there were as many as twenty-five million Muslims in China. The Hui, being one of the ten Muslim ethnic groups in China, numbers over seventeen million and is the most widespread Muslim group in the country. Since the statistics of Christians of China show a rise annually, this dissertation thus argues that the Chinese Christians have many opportunities to reach out to their Hui Muslim neighbors.

Since this work argues that Chinese Christians have many opportunities to reach out to their Hui Muslim neighbors, it suggests three strategic principles and some practical ways to train and implement within the Chinese Christian community. In order to challenge faithful Chinese Christians to reach Hui Muslims, this thesis recommends a fivefold plan for recruiting and equipping workers.
