The purpose of this study was to determine if a low cost and practical sampling methodology could be developed to estimate the quantity and acceptability of a mixture of chemical pollutants in the indoor air within a new office building. Standardized industrial hygiene sampling protocols were used for the collection of total hydrocarbons, total aldehydes, and total particulates. These values were then compared with data in the literature to determine if acceptable air quality was likely to be present.Subjects--Topical Terms:
