The study of aging, ergonomics, Kaizen, and Lean thinking books and electronic media, a research conducted in Argentina and the United States in English and Spanish, determined that by correlating proven ergonomic and medical data for the elderly with Kaizen and Lean philosophies, it is possible to implement an ergonomic program inside an organization. The steps include: problem recognition, problem solving using value definition and value stream mapping, improvement areas (environment, employee health, etc.), standardization (flow), pull, and perfection.
