520 $a This study is based on the perspective of social production and resources mobilization to analyze the formation and decline of Taiwan independence organizations. The independence organizations face incessant changes of the environment, and they have difficulty in adjusting to this volatility. We conclude that environmental changes transformed the independence movement.
