Showtime Aerobic Dance was developed to address the problems of middle-aged overweight women who have lost their self-esteem and have basically “let themselves go”, who need to regain what has been lost through the years. The underlying concept was to use having fun and a sense of play as a distraction from everyday stress while exercising through dance in an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard.
