The evolution of a costume designer.
- 57 p.
Adviser: LIsa Martin-Stuart.
Thesis (M.F.A.)--University of South Carolina, 2009.
This paper is a reflection of my growth as a costume designer while completing the requirements for a Masters of Fine Arts. Over the course of several semesters, I grew in my research abilities, my communication skills, and my ability to formulate design ideas creatively. When I began the Masters of Fine Arts costume design program, my goal was to complete my degree having evolved as a strong, confident designer. I was able to reach this goal and even surpass it. Throughout this paper, both my design process and my maturity as a designer are explored.
