The purpose of this team report will be to research and examine a method to apply policy analysis in identifying strengths and weaknesses in school health and wellness programs.
520 $a The first section of this report will provide an in depth review of the literature examining and citing best practices in the development and promotion of an ideal school health and wellness program. From the review of the literature, an ideal school health wellness model will be crafted. An objective three point scoring guide will be created from this model.
520 $a The scoring guide will be applied to appraise several school districts health and wellness programs, identifying strengths and weaknesses. From this analysis, recommendations will be given which are derived from the review of the literature and current best practices.
