Thesis (M.S.W.)--California State University, Long Beach, 2008.
The purpose of this project was to design a program which will provide early intervention services, providing adequate education and tools which would help mothers and caregivers detect developmental delays and or disabilities in children ages 0-5 among the Latino population. The grant writer consulted with Program Manager of Community Based Services and Program Development at a local agency to create a program for children and primary caregivers. First Five Los Angeles was selected as the funding source through the use of Internet searches. A grant was written to support children ages 0-5, mothers and caregivers at Hillsides, a local agency in Los Angeles, California. This grant was not required to be submitted in accordance with the guidelines of this project.
