The Blossom's project.
- 194 p.
Adviser: Mary Ellen Szadkowski.
Thesis (M.A.)--Royal Roads University (Canada), 2004.
The purpose of the Blossom's project was to evaluate the personal, leadership and career or life development opportunities that existed in the lives of Grade 10 students at Mount St. Joseph College an all-girls school in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Women leaders and average youth, age 15, were consulted to determine the barriers to self-empowerment. Personal or educational enhancements were identified. Participants were involved with a variety of creative and expressive opportunities to investigate youth's receptivity to self-development exercises. Activities helped young women to understand themselves, their potential and gave them suggestions on how to develop careers that would be holistically rewarding.
