The role of women in the workplace has changed dramatically over the past fifty years and the glass ceiling has cracked, but not shattered. Research suggests that other inequalities plague and hinder women's progress and potential to achieve equality. Though diversity has become a top priority in corporate America; many companies fail to attain racial equality within their senior management ranks. The main objective of this mixed methodology design is to analyze the challenges and obstacles women of color encounter as they attempt to advance into the senior level positions of management.
