In the history of Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty period, many Chinese families in Taiwan would gain fame by participating in the suppression of chaos or imperial examinations, which enabled the family to advance to a leadership position in the local area, have channels of communication with the government, and protect their own property and have a power to speak in the region. From the extension of the Qing Dynasty to the early days of Japanese rule in the JinQiongLin area, the main families such as the Liu, Chenghao (劉承豪) family, the Lin, Xiankun (林先坤) family, the Jiang, Shengzhi (姜勝智) and the Jiang, Xiuluan (姜秀鑾) family, the Liu, Chaozhen (劉朝珍) family and the Pan, Wenqi (潘文起) family (Taokas people)...etc. How to start from the establishment of self-defense organizations by private armed forces, to the formation of the social system of the Ken-Ai system (A defense organization with armed forces during the reclamation process) (墾隘制度), the division of labor plays a role, and the use of imperial examinations and donations to obtain and gain "Fame". At the same time, they used imperial examinations and donations to gain "Fame" to enhance the power of their own family, organize a complete defense system, and use local force to help the government quell chaos to and obtain the leading gentry status. That is, how to use both "Martial Arts" (武) and "Education" (學) to develop the ritual circle of "Fang-fan Faith (防番信仰) (God of defended the aboriginal attack)" and "Wen-chang Faith (God of Education) (文昌信仰)" represented by "Martial Arts" and "Education" in social relations, and establish regional mutual relations. From the current academic research, the research on important families in various regions during the Qing Dynasty is mainly based on the discussion of a single family. It is rare for several families in a region to develop at the same time. The tenants who become local tyrants or gentry face the problems of ineffective government functions, reclamation process and defense,.... etc. They compete and cooperate with each other to conduct integrated research.
