In the context of the globalization of the music industry, there is a gap in international vocal education regarding Mandarin songs The theory International Phonetic Alphabet and Chinese phonetic alphabet and Through Enunciation to Phonation proposed by Chuhao Hu is innovative. It provides a new strategy to integrate the three approaches to improve the quality and efficiency of learning Mandarin songs. This study improves based on Chuhao Hu's theory by comparing the use of the IPA alone and IPA and TEP theories in learning Mandarin songs, which were evaluated, and the results analyzed. In this research, six cis-gender female graduate students were divided into two groups according to their gender Identity. One group learned using only the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), and the other group learned using the IPA and TEP method. Two groups simultaneously learned the same song and the analysis showed that, among all the participants, the accuracy and quality of pronunciation of the participants who learned Mandarin songs using the IPA and TEP method were significantly higher than those who learned using only the IPA method. and quality were significantly higher than those who learned using only IPA. This research may provide a more effective and accurate theory for learning Mandarin song pronunciation, potentially providing a more reliable guide for non-native Mandarin speakers.
