This descriptive study used a survey to prioritize and rate the burdens felt by grandparent caregivers raising a dependent grandchild or grandchildren. A minimum of 22 grandparents who utilized grandparent support groups at a senior center facility comprised this study's sample. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the burdens of the study's sample. The grandparents resided in either Erie or Niagara County, were predominantly married, and the majority were caregivers on a permanent basis. The two highest rank burdens were time-dependence burden and emotional burden.
