The purposes of this study were (a) to evaluate the effectiveness of a career decision-making skills intervention on increasing career decision-making self-efficacy and reducing career indecision of college students with and without disabilities, (b) to compare pre-intervention levels of career decision-making self-efficacy and career indecision among college students with and without disabilities, and (c) to identify which components of the intervention were perceived by the participants as most effective in improving their career decision-making self-efficacy and reducing their career indecision. Participants were 49 college students, including 18 with disabilities. An experimental design was used to test the impact of a 10 hour intervention delivered over four sessions. Significant impact (p $<$ or =.10) was demonstrated for both students with and without disabilities on the Certainty Scale of the Career Decision Scale, the Vocational Identity Scale of My Vocational Situation, and the Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Scale. An ex post facto design was used to compare preintervention levels of career decision-making self-efficacy and indecision. The results of the statistical analyses suggested that college students with disabilities had a higher level of career decision-making self-efficacy than did their nondisabled peers. However, no significant differences were found between students with and without disabilities on measures of career indecision. A descriptive design was used to identify which aspects of the intervention were perceived by the participants as most effective in improving their career decision-making self-efficacy and reducing career indecision. Both students with and without disabilities found the Career Visions computerized career information delivery system to be most helpful and a career decision-making video to be the least helpful. Thus, the findings of this study support the effectiveness of this integrated career intervention. In particular, college students with and with out disabilities tended to share similar perceptions about what aspects of the intervention were most and least helpful.
