Most of Alexander Scriabin's early works were composed for the piano and contrasted starkly with the style of his later compositions. However, there has been limited research on his early period. This essay will explore Chopin's profound influence on these works through aspects such as genre, form, harmony, melody, and rhythm and reveal the structural and stylistic similarities found in Scriabin's Piano Sonata No.2 and 24 Piano Preludes, Opus 11.
