The first dissertation concert took place on April 2nd, 2022, in Britton Recital Hall. The program featured Auf Flugeln des Gesanges, S. 547 by Felix Mendelssohn/Franz Liszt, Auf dem Wasser zu Singen, S. 558/2 by Franz Schubert/Franz Liszt, and the Sonetto 104 del Petrarca, S. 161/2 by Liszt. Also performed were the Etude Op. 52, No. 6 "En forme de valse" and the Mazurka Op. 66 No. 3 by Camille Saint-Saens, the Piano Sonata No. 4 in C minor, Op. 29 by Sergei Prokofiev, and Liszt's Totentanz for piano and orchestra, accompanied by Philip Solomonick on second piano.The second concert, a lecture recital, focused on Franz Liszt's Sonata in B minor. It took place on January 15th, 2023, in Britton Recital Hall. The theme of the lecture recital was "Exploring Liszt's Sonata in B minor: A Narrative Journey."The third concert, held at the All Seasons Ann Arbor Auditorium on August 2nd at 7pm, featured Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude and Fugue in F minor, BWV 857, and Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata in B-flat Major, Op. 106, "Hammerklavier.".
