This study explores the experiences of high school teachers with instructional coaching in schools with varying socio-economic statuses and examines the potential influence of these experiences on teacher retention. The study will investigate how coaching relationships, practices, and outcomes differ in higher and lower socio-economic schools and how these differences influence teachers' decisions to remain in the profession. Through qualitative and quantitative analyses, my research aims to provide insights into the effectiveness of coaching as a professional development tool and its role in addressing teacher retention across diverse socio-economic contexts.
