This study explored human transformation and growth by comparing Zhuang Zi's Daoist philosophy with Western transpersonal psychology transformation models, highlighting both the commonalities and differences in the phenomena of transformation. A central question guiding this research was: What is the convergence and relationship between Zhuang Zi's philosophy and transpersonal psychology models in the study of transformation? To explore this question, the study employed intuitive inquiry as the primary methodology, collecting data through interviews with 10 participants from China and the United States, focusing on their transformative experiences. The research examined the similarities and differences in transformative phenomena within Eastern and Western cultural contexts, as well as potential pathways to transformation and awakening. Through the lens of Zhuang Zi's philosophy, this study provided new insights into transformation theory within transpersonal psychology and highlighted the influence of cultural differences on personal transformation. Ultimately, the study aimed to foster a deeper understanding of and facilitate personal transformation and growth, offering a fresh perspective for cross-cultural exploration in related theories and practical applications.
