In this research study, the monetary efficiency of introducing Artificial Intelligence into the Department of Defense was explored. By using a projected time of a thirty-year estimate until human level AI arrives, convergence plotting was used to graph data derived from DoD (Department of Defense) reporting and the straight-line method formula. A comparison of the results led to the conclusion that directly funding the development of human level AI could potentially save the DoD money in the long term. The same study also performed a content analysis on policy documents released by government entities such as the DOD, White House, and House Oversight Committee to identify keywords and trends through the process of inductive category formation. These categories ended up being Oversight, Ethics, Policy, Entities, and Development.
