The use of organocatalysis in the field of asymmetric chemistry has become of pivotal importance. Parallel is the importance in the development of sigmatropic rearrangements, this class of powerful transformations integral in synthetic chemistry. Recent years have witnessed a notable surge in the development of organocatalytic asymmetric examples. A comprehensive review of reported asymmetric organocatalyzed sigmatropic rearrangements is presented here. Herein we explore the development of a novel Claisen rearrangement catalyzed by dienamine catalysis via a Dynamin Kinetic Asymmetric Transformation. γ-Epimeric aldehydes, undergo rearrangement to afford the enantioenriched product. The transformation proceeds through two sets of conditions accommodating a diverse substrate scope. Furthermore, the development of a novel organocatalyzed enantioselective [1,2]-Stevens rearrangement of ammonium ylides is also reported. Utilizing an isothiourea catalyst azetidinium salts underwent ring expansion to generate proline derivatives. Notably, the reaction conditions extend to encompass an expanded six-membered ring, extending beyond just the azetidiniums.
