This paper focuses on and centers multilingual educators' voices and their beliefs about multilingual learners' instructional needs. The study used social cognitive theory and humanizing pedagogy as theoretical frameworks to examine the personal, behavioral, and environmental influences on the current teaching practices of multilingual teachers, having been multilingual learners themselves. A recruiting survey was used to screen participants, and interviews were conducted to gain insight into the beliefs of multilingual teachers about multilingual learners, to learn about the influence their experience as multilingual learners has on their teaching practices, and to understand how their experience as multilingual learners reflected the policy context of their time as students. After analyzing the data, information about multilingual educators' beliefs, practices, and experiences was discovered. This paper amplifies multilingual educators' voices in a way that does not exist within current research. It also shifts the perspective on multilingual learners' linguistic repertoires as a deficit to one that focuses on it as an asset.
