This dissertation investigates the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on a higher education institution, focusing on the perspectives of students and faculty members. The literature review identifies gaps in understanding the implementation processes and ecosystem of educational AI. The research addresses the need for a comprehensive analytical perspective on this evolving educational landscape. Central research questions explore stakeholders' attitudes toward AI's role in higher education. Using qualitative methodology, a Google Form questionnaire was distributed online to gather data from students and faculty at the institution. This approach allowed for a nuanced examination of the societal context surrounding educational AI. Data from the responses were analyzed using qualitative analysis software, revealing themes such as concerns about diminishing human involvement in education and uncertainties regarding interdisciplinary AI integration. However, respondents also acknowledged AI's potential to enhance accessibility, personalized learning, and efficiency. The findings underscore the complex nature of AI within the institution's educational framework. The implications of the study suggest the necessity for institutional policies and professional development to ensure ethical and balanced AI implementation while preserving essential human elements. Recommendations include further research to explore disciplinary variations and gather additional stakeholder perspectives across diverse institutions. This study lays a foundation for ongoing exploration of AI's significant impact on higher education, offering insights for informed decision-making and future research endeavors.
