Solar cells have several advantages over traditional fossil fuel-based power sources. They are clean and renewable, producing no greenhouse gas emissions or air pollution. To use the narrow bandgap and excellent thermal stability, FAPbI3 promising perovskite material but it has phase change problem. Methylammonium chloride introduced in the perovskite can help to make a stable phase of pure α-FAPbI3. But the α-phrase would still change to δ-FAPbI3 even under the nitrogen environment. Also, the defect in perovskite film cannot be ignored. So, in this paper, I synthesized and used titanium sub-oxide with formic acid (HCOOH) functional side groups as an additive in the perovskite solution and made more stable FAPbI3 film. Formic acid can act as a passivation agent by filling in iodide vacancies and reducing defect density, reducing non-radiative recombination of photogenerated charge carriers. TiOx could be used as a shielding layer to prevent oxygen and moisture from the environment.
