To support the development of the system for reduction of fraud in the on-campus academic examinations, there is a real need for a remote management and monitoring of the generic Linux devices. To address this issue, an User Services Platform (also known as TR-369) Agent was implemented based on it's open-source reference implementation (OB-USP-Agent), focusing on a general Linux distribution instead of OpenWrt. This Agent exposes the device functionalities, implemented in the external services, to the Controller. The services communicate with the Agent via D-Bus and the Agent supports the service discovery, which makes it easily extendable with new functionalities in the future.
