The goal of this work is to come up with an innovative proposal for exporting strategy for wineries to further develop the business connection in Japan and Taiwan. Based on the experience and resources of the internship hosting company and the academic research, including the influence of culture, tradition, and customer behavior of countries' differences. Within the methodological approach, the structure is composed of an introduction of the general export process and procedure and then followed by specific trade features worthy of good notice in three different wine markets which are Japan, France, and Taiwan. While France continues to stand as the most imported wine country almost in all countries outside of Europe, it is undeniable that it has been facing the rising challenge of competitors from the new world with more and more matured winemaking techniques and even more creative marketing strategies. However, the success of French wine export in terms of quantity and quality represents more than just the wine itself but the premium image, social status, civilization, or living style of the French culture. The possible constructing criteria of this long-established norm could be the historical fact, marketing strategy, or tourism development of the country or even in regions. On the other side of demand, while these images are transmitted, built, and eventually habituated across continents, the perception of the final ones could very much vary from the originals in different destinations. While speaking about importing activities, the cause of the purchasing factors can also be affected by the local costume, general manners of commerce, wine consumption behavior of the population, or even the cost level of living of a nation, etc. This paper will focus on the two destination countries: Japan, which is also still considered one of the most difficult markets to enter in Asia, and Taiwan whose consumption of wine has grown by almost 9% annually over the past decade.
