Utilizing a blend of theoretical explanation and empirical analysis, the book will delve into the multifaceted causes and consequences of global imbalances, with a focus on the US and China as major sources of global imbalances. Finally, it will propose certain strategic measures that are required to achieve the sustainable development of the global economy, in a work that will interest journalists, economists and scholars of international relations. Edmund Li Sheng received his PhD from the University of Freiburg. He is a distinguished professor at Shandong University. He has published over 100 papers and 12 monographs.
