This dedicated volume offers this comprehensive coverage, exploring how climate change impacts vulnerable communities, and how different actors such as vulnerable people, communities, governments, and NGOs are adopting strategies for resilience and sustainable livelihoods. As the impacts of climate change vary over geographical regions, the book targets a systematic coverage of the issue for different geographical regions in South Asia/ India, including the Himalayan region (Hilly Area), Indo-Gangetic Plain, Sundarbans (Mangroves), Coastal lands, Deccan Plateau, and Western Semi-arid and arid areas.
