In this study, a comparative analysis of three fab labs has been investigated regarding innovative and creative spaces in cities. Therefore, the fab lab models in Germany and Turkey have been examined. Fab Lab model has been emerged in the cities related to maker spaces and the Maker Movement to enhance the maker culture in the community. Under the guidance of literature reviews, the Maker Movement, Maker cities, Fab Lab model relations has been mentioned. In the scope of the study, three fab labs Izmir Fabrika Lab, Dortmund Dezentrale Fab Lab and HRW Bottrop Fab Lab was examined under the determined subtitles. Additionally, semi-structured interviews were conducted with fab lab managers and workers. Fab lab objectives shape related to establishment process, initiator and organisation model. Regarding the various objectives of fab labs, user profiles, impacts and network with other foundations differentiate. To this extent, it is crucial to answering how fab labs can spread in cities considering their relationship between maker community and public spaces in the urban design context. By developing citizen participation, considering the potentiality of transforming fab labs to third places and specialisation possibilities of fab labs can response urban and community issues or needs. Therefore, when the fab lab model considered as revitalisation and transformation strategy, it is possible to answer environmental problems and demands with innovative and creative methods.

520 $a Bu calismada, sehirlerdeki yenilikci ve yaratici mekanlar goz onunde bulundurularak ikisi Almanya'dan birisi Turkiye'den olmak uzere uc farkli uretim laboratuvari modeli incelenmistir. Uretici hareketin yayginlasmasi ile uretici kulturun benimsenmesi adina sehirlerde ortaya cikan uretim laboratuvarlarinin sayisi gun gectikce artmaktadir. Literatur arastirmalari sonucunda uretici hareket, uretici sehir modeli, uretim mekanlarinin iliskisi verilmistir. Calismanin kapsaminda, Izmir Fabrika Lab, Dortmund Dezentrale Uretim Laboratuvari ve HRW Bottrop Uretim Laboratuvarlari belirli basliklarda incelenmistir. Izmir, Dortmund ve Bottrop'ta uretim laboratuvari yonetici ve calisanlari ile yari yapilandirilmis mulakatlar gerceklestirilmistir. Uretim laboratuvarlarinin hedefleri, isletme modeli, kurulus sureci, kurulus hikayesi ve tesvik eden kurucusuna bagli olarak farkliliklar gostermektedir. Uretim laboratuvarlarinin hedefleri ve odaklari laboratuvar kullanici profili, ihtiyac duyulan kuruluslarla ile ag ve baglantilarini ve mekansal etkisini sekillendirmektedir. Bu baglamda, uretici toplum ve kamusal alan arasindaki iliskileri goz onunde bulundurarak uretim laboratuvarlarinin sehirlerde nasil yayginlastirilabilecegini cevaplamak cok onemlidir. Uretim laboratuvarlarinin kentlerde ucuncul mekanlara donusme potansiyeli ve uretim laboratuvarlarinin ihtisaslasmasina olanak saglayarak kentsel ve toplumsal ihtiyaclara cevap verilmesi mumkundur. Bu nedenle, uretim laboratuvarlari, vatandas katilimini destekleyerek kentsel tasarim ve yenileme alanlarinda yenilikci cozum ve oneriler sunmaktadir.
