Leadership practices, collective teacher efficacy, and student achievement has been studied for decades by researchers in isolation, but not many studies have correlated all three variables. The purpose of this study was to determine if there was a correlation between the variables of leadership, collective efficacy, and student achievement. This study included principals, teachers, and students in grades 3-10 from one Southeastern school district. Findings showed a relationship between leadership qualities, collective teacher efficacy, and student achievement. The findings also revealed leadership qualities, such as transformational, or transactional, which are more conducive to positive outcomes in regard to collective efficacy and student achievement. The outcome of the study added to the growing body of literature on the subject.
