Improvement of implant systems and treatment protocols lead to conceptual changes in dental implantology. An example is the relatively recent entry into practice of the art of prosthetics on tilted / angulated / implants. This operative - prosthetic methodology was not sufficiently developed and studied in Bulgaria. Tilted implants have some advantages from surgical and prosthetic point of view. This technique makes it possible to use implants with a greater length, the increased osteointegration area improves primary stability, avoids extensions bypassing the use of bone grafts and traumatic procedures for augmentation of the maxillary sinuses. These are prerequisites for Immediate or early loading of implants. The proposed thesis is clinically based with no experimental part, developed on the basis of sufficient statistical processing material from 30 patients and objects of study - 208 axial and tilted implants. Comparative characteristics of both types of implantation are effected, a modification of the original author's methodology for tilted implants in augmented sinuses is developed. The evaluation methodology and criteria (clinical indices) used in the thesis are adopted at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Consensus Conference for Implant Success in Pisa, Italy, 2007. The tasks, as formulated, logically follow these benchmarks, the relevant research methods and indicators.

520 $a Усъвършенстването на имплантатните системи и лечебните протоколи водят до концептуални промени в денталната имплантология. Пример за това е сравнително скорошното навлизане в световната практика на техниката на протезиране върху наклонени /ангулирани/ имплантати. Тази оперативно-протетична методика не е достатъчно разработена и проучена в България. Наклонените имплантати имат някои предимства както от хирургична, така и от протетична гледна точка. Тази техника прави възможно използването на имплантати с по-голяма дължина, увеличава се остеоинтеграционната площ, подобрява се първичната стабилност, избягват се удължените конзоли, избягва се използването на костни присадки и травматичните процедури за аугментация на максиларните синуси. Това са предпоставки и за имедиатно или ранно натоварване на имплантатите. Предложената дисертация е клинична, без експериментална част, развита на базата на достатъчен за статистическа обработка материал от 30 пациента и обекти за изследване - 208 броя аксиални и наклонени имплантати. Правят се сравнителни характеристики на двата вида имплантации, разработена е авторова модификация на оригиналната методика за наклонените имплантати в аугментирани синуси. Оценъчната методика и критерии (клинични индекси), използвани в дисертацията, са приети на International Congress of Oral Implantologists Consensus Conference for Implant Success in Pisa, Italy, 2007. Задачите са 4 на брой и са така формулирани,че следват логически тези оценъчни критерии, съответните методи за изследване и показатели.
