This Master's Thesis Project highlights the effect that music and movement integration has on student engagement and academic achievement. Music integration enhances students' interpersonal skills such as active listening, expressive communication, and cooperation skills. Students are more engaged and are able to retain more information when they are listening to or playing music. In addition, movement integration increases student interest, engagement, academic achievement, and social development. Movement integration also allows students with disabilities to become more engaged in learning and communicate more effectively. When paired together, music and movement make an even stronger combination. This means that when music and movement are integrated cohesively, student engagement and achievement levels increase dramatically.

520 $a Este Proyecto de Tesis de Maestria destaca el efecto que tiene la integracion de la musica y el movimiento en la participacion de los estudiantes y el rendimiento academico. La integracion musical mejora las habilidades interpersonales de los estudiantes, como la escucha activa, la comunicacion expresiva y las habilidades de cooperacion. Los estudiantes participan mas y pueden retener mas informacion cuando escuchan o tocan musica.
