The purpose of this quantitative study was to examine the relationship between burnout, turnover intention, and job satisfaction in peer support specialists throughout the United States. A survey was created using Scanlan et al.'s (2020) research on the same topic in Australia. A survey was conducted using Qualtrics XM (https://qualtrics.com). There was a total of 555 responses that were reviewed for analysis. The study suggests that peers experience burnout at a rate comparable to other mental health professionals (Delgadillo, 2017); however, job resources such as supervisor support have a protective factor against turnover intention and reduced job satisfaction. Future research is needed to target specific populations and increase the depth of knowledge about the relationships between burnout, job satisfaction, and turnover intention.{A0}
