I explore the notion of divine omnipresence and God's relationship to space. The key question is: what are the fundamental facts that underlie the Christian doctrine of divine omnipresence? I carve out three families of views that have been represented both historically and contemporarily: the reductive view, according to which omnipresence is reducible to other traditional divine attributes such as omniscience and omnipotence; the occupation view, according to which omnipresence is grounded in God's bearing certain fundamental occupation relations to spatial regions; and the divine space view, according to which metaphysical space is emanative from or identical with God. For each of these families of views, I consider arguments for and against. In favor of the reductive view is its theoretical parsimony, not requiring any occupation relations between God and regions, indeed being entirely neutral on the dispute between substantivalism and relationalism. As theoretical parsimony in metaphysical disputes is regarded a kind of tie breaker, I argue that the reductive view wins by default unless there are strong arguments for alternative views. For the occupation view, I consider the causal argument from no-action-at-a-distance and the argument from perfect being theology, and I criticize these arguments. Against the occupation view, I consider the argument that it makes God a material object and the problem of spatial intrinsics and shapes, and a problem the occupation view encounters with the Ted Sider's "Principle of Purity." For the divine space view, I consider the argument from the incommunicable divine attributes of space and the argument from necessity, and I criticize these arguments. Against the divine space view, I consider the objection that it entails pantheism, the "Purity" problem again, and an argument that emanation is explanatorily circular. My conclusion is that because the occupation view and the divine space view have no compelling arguments in their favor, then, for reasons of parsimony, the reductive view of omnipresence should be preferred.
