The current study supports the claim that acculturation, religiosity, and mental health stigma will have a significant correlation with the overall life satisfaction of Korean immigrants. The study also hypothesizes that higher acculturation and religiosity will be a predictor for higher life satisfaction and that higher mental health stigma will be a predictor for lower life satisfaction. 54 participants who identified as a first-generation immigrant from the age of 18 and above participated in this study. The participants completed the Immigrant Language Ability (ILA), Realistic Expectations Acclimating to Life after Immigration (REALI), Endorsed and Anticipated Stigma Inventory (EASI), Religious Commitment Inventory (RCI), and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), which measured the various constructs examined in this study. After a Pearson's r correlational analysis was run, the study found a significant negative correlation between mental health stigma and life satisfaction. A significant correlation was not found between acculturation and life satisfaction as well as religiosity and life satisfaction. Furthermore, a regression analysis was run and found that greater mental health stigma is a significant predictor for lower life satisfaction. Whereas, acculturation and religiosity were not found to be significant predictors for life satisfaction.
