The purpose of this study was to address the research question "To what extent does perceived usefulness (PU) predict the willingness to adopt augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technology among caregivers of children with Down syndrome (DS)?" as well as "To what extent does perceived ease of use (PEU) predict the willingness to adopt AAC technology among caregivers of children with DS?" Both questions examined the independent relationship between PU and PEU and how behavioral intentions came into play. The research design was a quantitative, nonexperimental correlational structure. The target population was teachers, parents, and therapists that teach children with DS aged five to 12. Using a survey based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) questionnaire, data from a total of 90 surveys were collected through SurveyMonkey to represent the population. Multiple regression analysis was used to test the stated hypothesis and proved that PU and PEU significantly influenced teachers, parents, and therapists in adopting communication assistive technology (CAT). The study findings' support of the TAM method indicate that teachers, parents, and therapists are willing to adopt CAT.
