Christian parenting resources typically lack an integrative framework from which parents can draw to inform them on strategies in line with scripture and neuroscience. The vast majority of resources available to parents in the church either focus on behavioral outcomes or general Biblical principles. Other resources attempt integration but do so in an incomprehensive way, making it challenging for parents to gather the information needed to empower them to parent their children from both a Biblical perspective as well as a scientifically informed one. Therefore, I recommend a succinct yet comprehensive parenting workshop aimed at parents with children ranging from 2-10 years of age that can be offered to churches which will provide an integrative framework that parents can draw from as they care for their children. Both scripture and neuroscience will be referenced in both a hands-on and practical manner to empower parents with strategies in line with scripture and the life of Christ as well as the latest neuroscience on parenting.
