As the danger of heretical propaganda within the Korean Christian community continues to increase, more people are falling into the deception of Shincheonji. In response, this study aimed to explore ways to prevent the spread of Shincheonji through biblical education. The study was conducted primarily at Saerom Baptist Church, where fifteen participants engaged in a program of biblical and doctrinal education aimed at equipping them with a better understanding of Christian doctrine and the ability to effectively respond to the characteristics of the deceptive teachings and strategies used by Shincheonji. Through a comparison and contrast of biblical doctrine with the teachings of Shincheonji from theological, social, and historical perspectives, participants gained confidence in their ability to prevent themselves and others from falling into the deception of Shincheonji. The results of the project indicate that promoting biblical education and increasing awareness of the danger of heretical teachings are effective ways to prevent participants from entering Shincheonji.
