The rapid decline of Korean Church and the loss of the identity of Christian schools are major causes for the decline of the Korean Christianity. Since 2012, Korean churches confronted a rapid decrease in number. In the same context, the 2010 Supreme Court ruling, the case of Eue Seok Kang of Daegwang High School, the 2012 enforcement of the student human rights ordinance in Seoul, and the biased media reports against Myongji High School Revival Meeting in 2012.The early Christian missions in Korea originated from educational missions through Christian schools. Christian education was conducted to sympathize with suffering for division and discrimination between nobles and peasants, men and women, adults and children, Japanese colonialism, and the ravages of Korean war.Christian schools have established the next generation. During Independence Movement Day, 823 Christian schools became the center for protest against Japanese colonial oppression. Christian NGO activities such as World Vision, founded during the Korean War, helped victims of war. Missionaries planted new hopes for freedom and equality based on the gospel. Bringing new era with the revival of churches and schools. However, founding spirit and educational policy of Christian school are being weakened under the pretexts of 'high school standardization' and the alleged claim of 'individual choice.'Therefore, I contribute 20 years of experience as school chaplain to restore disparaged and distorted perception of modern Christian schools. This dissertation regards to the continuation of early Christian school mission's history by increasing unity between church, school, and various institutions.

520 $a 한국교회 교인의 급격한 감소와 기독교학교의 정체성 상실은 한국 기독교 전체의 쇠퇴와 몰락을 가져오고 있다. 2012년, 한국교회 부흥이 멈추고 급격하게 감소하기 시작한다. 이는 2010년 대광고등학교 강의석 사건 대법원 판결, 2012년 서울시교육청 학생인권조례 시행, 2012년 명지고등학교 신앙부흥회 편향적 보도와 맥을 같이 한다. 초기 한국 기독교 선교는 기독교학교를 통한 학원선교에서 기인한다. 양반과 천민, 남성과 여성, 어른과 아이 등의 엄격한 구분과 차별, 일제강점기 식민지 사회와 전쟁 폐해 속에서 시대의 아픔을 공감하는 기독교교육이 실시되었다. 교회는 학교를 세웠고 변화의 중심이 되었다. 기독교학교는 다음세대를 세웠다. 3.1운동 당시 823개의 기독교학교가 중심이 되어 피압박 민족의 아픔을 외치며 불의에 항거하였다. 전쟁 속에 태어난 NGO 월드비전은 고통 받는 이들을 치유하였다. 부활절 아침, 아펜젤러 선교사'하나님의 자녀로서 자유와 빛을 주옵소서', 언더우드 선교사'이곳이 은총의 땅이 되리라는 것을 믿습니다'믿음의 간절한 기도는 씨앗이 되어 자라나 차별이 철폐되었고, 고통의 시련 앞에서 새 시대 새로운 소망을 심으며 교회와 학교의 부흥을 가져왔다. 하지만 지금은 평준화와 차별, 개인의 선택이라는 미명 아래 기독교학교의 설립정신과 교육방침 그리고 진리 공동체가 파괴되고 있다. 이에 기독교학교의 자랑스러운 역사와 전통을 회고하고, 기독교학교의 폄하와 왜곡된 인식을 바로 잡기 위한 20여년간 교목 활동 사례를 소개한다. 연구자와 학교가 처했던 위기상황에서 모두가 하나 되어 기독교학교의 좋은 전통을 세워갈 수 있었던 것처럼, 교회, 학교, 기관, NGO, 언론, 법조계, 교육계가 하나로 연합함으로 초기 한국 기독교 선교의 찬란했던 구원의 역사가 계속되기를 바란다.
