Bu calismanin amaci, otizm spektrum bozuklugu olan cocuklarin egitsel degerlendirme ve tanilama surecinin incelenmesidir. Arastirmada nitel arastirma yontemlerinden gorusme teknigi ve dokuman analizi teknigi kullanilmistir. Arastirmanin calisma grubunu devlet hastanesi ve tip fakultesi hastanesinde calisan 12 cocuk ve ergen psikiyatristi, bir il merkezindeki rehberlik ve arastirma merkezinde (RAM) calisan 12 ogretmen, OSB olan cocuga sahip 12 ebeveyn ve 2019-2021 yillarinda OSB tanisi almis 54 ogrenci dosyasindan toplanan veriler olusturmaktadir. Arastirma verileri, yari yapilandirilmis gorusme formlari ve dosya inceleme formu ile toplanmistir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz teknigi kullanilarak analiz edilmistir. Yapilan analiz sonrasinda; ailelerin cocuklarinda cogunlukla sozel ve sozel olmayan iletisim becerileri ile sosyal becerilerde sikintilar fark ederek cocuk doktoruna basvurduklari, buradan yapilan yonlendirmelerle tanilama surecine girdikleri belirlenmistir. Cocuk ve ergen psikiyatristlerinin cogunlukla gozlem ve gorusme teknigi kullanarak veri topladiklari, bu gozlem ve gorusmeleri muayene odalarinda gerceklestirdikleri, tanilama surecinde bireyin dogum oykusu, gelisim sureci, gunluk yasamina dair bilgiler topladiklari, gerekli gorulurse ek olarak farkli uzmanlik alanlarindan destek aldiklari (kulak burun bogaz, noroloji), OSB'yi degerlendirme icin tarama araclari ve gelisim testlerinden faydalandiklari belirlenmistir. OSB'yi degerlendirmek uzere hazirlanan Turkceye uyarlanmis araclarin kullanilmadigi gorulmustur. RAM'da calisan ogretmenlerin egitsel degerlendirme ve tanilama surecinde cogunlukla gozlem ve gorusme tekniklerini kullandiklari, bu gozlem ve gorusmelerin bireysel incelme ve gozlem odalarinda gerceklestirildigi; gozlem ve gorusmelerin performans belirleme formlari, aile gorusme formlari ve kaba degerlendirme formlari kullanilarak kayit altina alindigi; ek olarak bilissel becerileri degerlendirmek icin standart zeka testlerinden ve gelisim testlerinden (Leiter Uluslararasi Performans Olcegi, Stanford Binet Zeka Testi, Ankara Gelisim Tarama Envanteri -AGTE) yararlandiklari belirlenmistir. Iletisim becerileri ve davranissal becerilerde sadece gozlem ve gorusme yaptiklari belirlenmistir. OSB'yi degerlendirmek uzere hazirlanan Turkceye uyarlanmis araclarin ise kullanilmadigi gorulmustur. Egitsel degerlendirme ve tanilama sonrasinda cogunlukla bireyin OSB duzeyine gore yerlestirme karari alindigini ama bazi durumlarda (ailenin adresi, okul sinif yetersizligi, tasima imkani) degisiklige gidilebildigi gorulmustur. OSB'nin erken tanilamasi icin ulkemizde tarama calismalarinin yapilmadigi, OSB'yi tanilama ve degerlendirmede cogunlukla informal araclarin ve yontemlerin kullanildigi, ailelerin tibbi tanilama ve egitsel tanilama surecinde kendilerine yonelik olarak daha cok bilgiye ve destege ihtiyac duyduklari, RAM'da gorev yapan ogretmenlerin hizmet ici egitime ihtiyac duyduklari belirlenmistir. Arastirma sonuclara gore; ulkemizde OSB'nin erken tanilamasi icin saglik kuruluslari ve RAM is birligi icinde bir tarama ekibi kurulabilir, RAM'larda calisan ogretmenlere egitsel degerlendirmeye yonelik hizmet ici egitimler verilebilir, OSB olan bireye sahip ebeveynlere aile egitimleri duzenlenebilir ve daha buyuk katilimci gruplariyla benzer calismalarin yurutulmesi onerilebilir.

520 $a The aim of this study is to examine the educational diagnosis and assessment processes of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In the research, interview technique and document analysis technique, which are qualitative research methods, have been used. The study group of the research is consisted of data collected from the files of 12 children and adolescents psychiatrists working in a state hospital and a medical school hospital, 12 teachers working in a guidance and research center in a province, 12 parents with a child with ASD, and 54 student files diagnosed with ASD in 2019-2021. Research data were collected with semi-structured interview and file review forms. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. After the analysis; It was determined that families mostly noticed problems in their children's verbal and non-verbal communication skills and social skills and applied to the pediatrician, and they entered the diagnosis process with the guidance made here. Child and adolescent psychiatrists mostly collected data using observation and interview techniques, carry out these observations and interviews in examination rooms, collect information about the birth history, developmental process and daily life of the individual during the diagnosis process, and receive additional support from different fields of expertise (ear, nose, throat, etc.neurology) used screening tools and developmental tests to evaluate ASD. It was observed that tools adapted to Turkish prepared ASD evaluation were not used. It was stated that the teachers working on the guidance and research center mostly used observation and interview techniques in the educational diagnosis and assessment process, and that these observations and interviews were applied on individual examination and observation rooms. Observations and interviews were recorded using performance determination forms, family interview forms and rough evaluation forms; In addition, it was determined that the benefited from standard intelligence tests and developmental tests (Leiter International Performance Scale, Stanford Binet Intelligence Test, Ankara Developmental Screening Inventory -AGTE) to evaluate cognitive skills. It was determined that they were only obserrved and interviewed in communication and behavioral skills. It was also observed that the tools adapted to Turkish, which were prepared to evaluate ASD, were not used. After the educational diagnosis and assessmet, it has been observed that the decision to place the individual is mostly based on the ASD level, but in some cases (family address, school class inadequacy, transportation possibility) changes can be made. There are no screening studies in our country for early diagnosis of ASD. However, informal tools and methods are mostly used in the diagnosis and evaluation of it. families need more information and support for themselves in the medical diagnosis and educational diagnosis process, teachers working in the RAM are in-service identified that they need training. According to the research's results; In our country, a screening team can be established in cooperation with health institutions and guidance and research center for the early diagnosis of ASD, in-service training can be given to teachers working on guidance and research center, family trainings can be organized for parents of individuals with ASD, and similar studies can be recommended with larger participant groups.
