This research examined self-efficacy, locus of control, age, gender, and years teaching as a predictor for teaching job satisfaction among a sample of Filipino teachers working in the USA for three years or less. The sample size consisted of 96 participants. Participants completed three surveys, Teacher Self-Efficacy Scale, Rotter's Locus of Control Scale, and PIRLS 2016 Teacher Job Satisfaction Scale, in addition to demographic information, age, gender, years teaching, and years teaching in the USA. Years teaching in the USA was removed from the analyses, as it was used as a criterion to participate in the study. Standard and stepwise multiple regression analyses were conducted to answer three research questions. The first research question was, do self-efficacy, locus of control, years teaching, age, and gender predict teaching satisfaction? The second research question was, what is the unique ability of self-efficacy, locus of control, years of teaching, age, and gender to predict teaching job satisfaction? The third research question was, which variable or combination of variables best predict teaching job satisfaction? The findings supported all three research questions. The linear model statistically significantly predicted job satisfaction F(12, 83) = 4.539, p < .001. Only one predictor variable was significantly predictive of job satisfaction, which was self-efficacy (t = 5.343 p <.001). The full model of self-efficacy, locus of control, age, gender, and years teaching, was statistically significant, R2 = .312, F = 42.691, p < .001; adjusted R2 = .305. These findings indicate that self-efficacy, locus of control, age, gender, and years teaching could be important constructs that improve teaching job satisfaction.
