Diese Studie ordnet die okonomischen Modelle der "Entwicklungshilfe" als kolonial gepragtes und historisch gebundenes Wissen ein und untersucht deren Lokalisierung in Verhandlungen und Projekten der Bundesrepublik und der Niederlande mit der Republik Indonesien in den langen 1960er Jahren. Die zugrunde liegenden Quellen umfassen Akten aus Ministerien in Bonn und Den Haag sowie zeitgenossische wissenschaftliche Publikationen uber Modernisierung, Industrialisierung und Schulden in Indonesien. Die Analyse zeigt, wie die Aneignung modernisierungstheoretischer Modelle im Rahmen der "Technischen Hilfe" Anfang der 1960er Jahre, also vor dem Regimewechsel von Sukarno zu Suharto, die Moglichkeit indonesischer Agency barg, und wie die Schuldenregelung im Rahmen der "Finanziellen Hilfe" nach 1965/66 koloniale Strukturen von Zentrum und abhangiger Peripherie mithilfe des Internationalen Wahrungsfonds und der Weltbank re-etablierte.

520 $a This study classifies the economic models of "development aid" as colonial and historically bound knowledge and examines their localization in negotiations and projects between the Federal Republic and the Netherlands and the Republic of Indonesia in the 1960s. The underlying sources include files from ministries in Bonn and The Hague as well as contemporary academic publications on modernization, industrialization and debt in Indonesia. The analysis shows how the appropriation of modernization-theoretical models within the framework of "technical assistance" at the beginning of the 1960s, i.e. before the regime change from Sukarno to Suharto, concealed the possibility of an Indonesian agency, and how the debt settlement within the framework of "financial aid" after 1965 / 66 re-established colonial structures of the center and the dependent periphery with the help of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
