The church must prioritize biblical sexual formation in a culture where people remain entrenched in pornography use. Evidence shows the impact pornography has both on culture and the church. God created sexuality for a purpose. When the church does not disciple Christians to develop an understanding of biblical sexuality, the sexual formation that comes from pornography will continue. The project director chose to develop a framework for biblical sexual formation to help men at Christ Central Church who struggle with pornography use. To accomplish this strategy, the project director developed a small group curriculum for the church to offer men who desire to grow out of sexual sin.In chapter two, the project director addresses the biblical and theological foundations for the ministry project by exegeting three critical texts on the subject: Gen 1:26-28, Matt 5:27-30, and 1 Cor 6:12-20. Through exegetical work and analysis of the theological foundations, the project director offers practical ministry application related to the ministry project. In chapter three, the projector overviews ministry foundations by researching biblical sexual formation along with the effects of pornography on the church. The project director explains his findings as well as core components of developing biblical sexual formation to support men struggling with pornography.In chapters four and five, the project director explains the process for developing the ministry project and gives an analysis of his findings. He also addresses feedback gained from the expert panel. Additionally, the project director evaluates the project process and evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of the ministry project. He concludes with personal reflections of his experience as a student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
