The Looking Glass Self is an interactive video installation exploring how the self is formed through an interactive process. In this installation, I try to build a conversational environment to trigger people's emotions. A computer vision emotion analysis API provides inputs to an interactive real-time generated video that evolves over time as it continuously acquires data based on the audience's emotion elicited by the interaction and viewing of the installation. What each viewer sees is the result of the accumulation of previous interactions.
