Significant literature exists that examined Big Five Personality Traits and the relationship with Leadership Styles, such as the Full Range Leadership Model; however, studies that have examined Big Five Personality Traits and Exemplary Leadership Practices are scarce. Additional research is needed to examine Big Five Personality Traits and Exemplary Leadership Practices. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between a leaders Big Five Personality Traits, Leaders Leadership Practices, when controlling for Age, Cohorts, Gender, Ethnicity, Level of Education, and Marital Status. This study utilized a convenience sample of 230 students from a local university. The participants completed the paper and pencil instrument that measured Leadership Personality (IPIP) and Exemplary Leadership Practices (LPI). By understanding Leadership Personality, a person may be able to develop his/her leadership through Exemplary Leadership Practices.
