Before You Go is a work in progress novel. The reader is met with a couple of curious kids who break into the old abandoned asylum. There they find the journal entries of a young girl who was once a patient. The main character, Amelia, who is an adrenaline junkie is the one to bring the reader along on her journey and how a once high feeling is turned into a nightmare after a traumatic night. Lost and alone, she ends up in an asylum with hard to swallow treatments. Between anxiety and an angry lover, Ezra, Amelia somehow finds her way back to normalcy. Amelia and Ezra decide it is time they break free because if they stay any longer the asylum will be the one to turn them clinically insane.
