Sporting is an activity involving physical exercise of the body. The exercises vary and are governed by different rules and regulation. The growth of sport clubs sports at a high degree depend on sponsor ship from well-wishers. This paper investigates motivating factor of banks sponsoring sports activities in Florida state Tallahassee city. The focus was on getting the responses from bank managers and sport clubs managers based on the following objectives: To find out if sports within the Florida State are under any sponsorship from banks, to investigate the reason why the banks are investing in sponsoring of sports and sports events, to access the role of banks in sponsoring of other community ventures and events in Florida city. Data was collocated from 40 bank managers and 15 sport club's managers within Tallahassee city by use of interviews which were guided by a schedule. The qualitative data was analyzed by coding and organizing it into themes and categories that gave meaning to the text. The finding from the analysis revealed that most of banks were sponsoring sport events within Florida state, this was attributed by many inclusive benefit attached to such sponsorship. Based on the finding it's recommendable that banks to rethink sponsoring other sectors to have an even economy and other corporates within the state should consider sponsoring events as a marketing strategy. The finding from the study shall be an entry point for the banks in making future decisions for their marketing strategies and stake holders involved in sport.
