The research in this thesis is focused on the quantifiable content of the objective and subjective qualities of contemporary fine arts criticism and contemporary ceramics criticism. Upon completion and analysis of 48 reviews and articles in each of the above disciplines, qualitative conclusions were drawn that have the potential to change the profile of contemporary ceramics criticism.
